(Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) * On February 16, JCSO deputies received intelligence indicating Trompeter's presence with two children, aged 6 months and 1.5 years, deep within the Jacksonville woods. Around 1:30 p.m. that same day, deputies located a vehicle at the top of Wagon Trail Drive. Proceeding cautiously, deputies approached the vehicle, only to find Trompeter absent upon their arrival. Inside, they discovered the two young children abandoned and unattended. Investigations suggested the possibility that the children had been left unaccompanied in the vehicle for up to two hours, alongside suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine. Mercy Flights medics assessed the children on-site before transferring them to Department of Human Services (DHS) personnel.
