The true story of us going home to visit Li's family is revealed in how Li asks her friend to meet up, and join us for her favorite noodle dish of LuoSiFen (and this is the FIRST thing we did after arriving in Li's hometown). Even though I uploaded our family visit video first, this was our reception in terms of food... and what a reception to LiuZhou it was! Thank you for joining us for another totally unique and mind-blowing combination of both CULTURE and FLAVOR. So much of what I miss from China is evident in this short video - the time we are spending here each day is so special, all the places we visit are memorable - this restaurant definitely holds its own. LuoSiFen is the LiuZhou dish of Snail broth, white rice noodles, and a totally insane amount of sour and spicy additions you add into the dish to taste. Some people go crazy for the chili oil, some love the addition of all the varieties of pickled sides, and my own personal favorite is this combination of tofu skin and deep fried Tofu. COST OF THE MEAL: The standard bowl of noodles will range from 5-7RMB, and the full option bowl here costs around 10RMB (US$1.35) LOCATION: Li found it!
