Gather to connect your heart to the Prophet ﷺ, to God, and to God’s servants. This gathering has been lovingly sustained for over 20 years by dedicated volunteers, munshids, and teachers. Each week feature reflections from esteemed guest teachers. Join us and keep the connections and hearts alive through remembrance, reflection, and community. Sponsored by Taleef Collective & MCC East Bay. More Sidi Mahdy Amine: http://mcceastbay.org/mahdy Mahdy Amine is a Zaytuna College alumnus and practicing attorney. Ustadh Mahdi also teaches Islamic Studies at ILM Tree, and he serves as Convert Care Coordinator for Ta'leef Collective. “I want people to feel the true beauty of Islam when they encounter Ta’leef. Was not our Prophet (upon him peace and blessings) the radiant embodiment of outer and inner beauty? One who saw him was in awe, and one who knew him fell in love. I hope Taleef translates that experiential beauty to a relevant American context while honoring the ethos and principles of the rich Islamic tradition.” More Ustadh Mahdi: https://mcceastbay.org/mahdy From Taleef: Dear Ta'leef community, Asalaamu alaykum. Peace and blessings to you all. We invite you to join us this coming Sunday, January 11th, for the last Mawlid gathering in the Main Hall of our Fremont campus. Please bring your family and friends to fill the room as we honor 17 years of memories and look forward to the journey ahead. Since 2008, this space has been a cherished sanctuary for Ta’leef, holding countless memories of shahadas, weddings, and spiritual growth. This Sunday is a moment to gather in gratitude, honoring all that this community has built here over nearly two decades. The current property development plans for the building will necessitate our temporary relocation. Our landlord has generously offered to work with us to ensure a smooth transition, including the potential use of the warehouse in the near future after construction. We want to express our profound gratitude to our landlords. Their immense generosity has provided Ta’leef with a home in Fremont to serve our community for many years, for which we pray that Allah rewards them immensely. In the meantime, MCC East Bay has graciously offered to temporarily host Ta’leef’s Mawlid for a few weeks beginning January 18th. May Allah facilitate ease throughout this process, and we look forward to gathering this Sunday to unite our hearts through the love of the Prophet (AS). With gratitude, The Ta’leef Board of Directors
