Blackberry Sage Lemonade Ingredients Blackberry Sage Syrup (makes ~1 cup) • 1 cup water • 1 cup granulated sugar • 6 oz fresh or frozen blackberries (about 1½ cups) • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh sage (or 5–6 leaves) • Optional: a pinch of citric acid (for extra zing) Refresh/Base Mix • ½ cup syrup • ½ cup lemonade (store‑bought or homemade) • Ice • Optional garnish: fresh blackberries + sage sprigs 🥄 Instructions 1. Make the syrup • In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and blackberries. Bring to a gentle simmer. • Once the sugar dissolves and berries soften (around 10–15 min), stir in sage and simmer 5 more minutes. • Optional: stir in ~¼ tsp citric acid for that bright refresher punch. • Cool slightly, then strain through a fine mesh, pressing gently to extract juices.
