Welcome back to Year 13 (1938) of our 100-year real-time journey! This episode marks the beginning of a massive infrastructure expansion and the launch of our high-value cargo division. In this episode: Mail & Armored Truck Launch: We’ve officially diversified our transport services. I’ve deployed a new fleet of Mail Trucks to serve our towns and Armored Trucks for the local Banks to bring in high-margin revenue. The Start of Stage 2: I have officially broken ground on the second phase of our mainline overhaul. This stage focuses on expanding the Right-Hand Side of our primary corridor. 6-Track Industrial Evolution: Our dedicated Industrial-Only Line is growing into a massive 6-track system (3 tracks up, 3 tracks down). By keeping this strictly for freight, we ensure our Ginzu 'A4' fleet never hits a red signal. Strategic Land Banking: I’ve used our profits to buy up large plots of land around the towns where we do business. This secures our future and ensures we have the space for massive industrial hubs. Junction Fixes: While building Stage 2, I identified several faults in our existing junctions. I’ve spent time smoothing out these merges to ensure 200+ trains can transition across the new tracks without losing speed.
