We adorned the Factory with our most-cosmic fabrics to celebrate a visit from Robyn Rocket and People You May Of Heard Of: jazz and psych-inspired grooves, led by Rocket on space trumpet and joined by friends Rozi Plain and Mark Williams on bass, Isaac Palm on drums, and Sue Lynch on saxophone and flute. As explained in her introduction to the session, Rocket’s music focuses on bringing communities together: uniting artists with autism and learning disabilities with experimental artists, namely from London-based institutions Cafe OTO, Total Refreshment Centre and Heart n Soul. The result is a truly uninhibited, joyful approach to music-making and collaboration, and it's fair to say we had lots of fun shooting this session!
