Reviewing Onyx's Boox Palma 2, an Android eReader shaped like a smartphone, although there's no cellular connectivity. As well as unboxing the Boox Palma 2, I share my thoughts on the user experience, battery life etc. So is this one of the best pocket-sized e-Readers in 2024 and how does it compare vs Onyx's original and its Kindle rivals? Well, the compact size certainly makes this one of the top options for travel, as you can slip it into any bag or even your pants with ease. The Onyx Boox Palma 2's screen is fine for reading books although PDFs and graphic novels are more of a struggle thanks to the size and aspect ratio. Fans of comics may want to look to a Kindle or a bigger Onyx device like the Boox Go Color 7. I reviewed that one too, go check it out! The great thing about the Boox Palma 2 vs those Kindles etc is the file support. You can even download Android apps onto this e-Reader, including yes, movie streaming services and games. Because I'm a bit mental, I had a go at Call of Duty. And didn't suck, surprisingly. So are you tempted by the Onyx Boox Palma 2? Let us know below!
