It took over 2 hours to record it, and I spent multiple days practicing it in order to not waste time during the video recordings. This song is one big fill, and I'd say Seth nailed it. I had no idea Guthrie had a brother! How come I've never heard of this guy, even though he recorded stuff like this??? Anyayyyy, let's dissect this beast. The first big fill happens at 2:01, but it's like the kid's version compared to the later ones. There is some string skipping involved, but this one shouldn't be that difficult to play. We got a bigger fill at 2:20, which lasts 4 seconds, and all the 7s and 9s will make your head go dizzy. At 2:48, the big 15/16 part begins which lasts 8 seconds, and it is basically just one big fill. The first two bars make sense, the dissonant bar at the end is far from easy. We can take it "easy" for about a minute, but you gotta mentally prepare for the big big fill as well. The big fill starts at 4:13 and ends at 4:26 which is absolutely insane. I don't know whether Seth or Guthrie wrote these parts, but I feel like most bassists can't write such parts. Once you play the final note at 4:41, you feel like you just won the game of life.
