Can I do this? Trying to Make My Cutest Collection Ever (Starting From Scratch) I’ve decided to try something a little ambitious… I want to make my cutest collection ever. In this new series I’m documenting the process of developing a handmade fashion collection completely from scratch, using upcycled materials, thrifted treasures, and whatever inspiration I can find around me. In this first episode I begin at the very start: gathering inspiration. I look through toys, books, and bits of colourful ephemera in my studio to figure out what “cute” really means to me. From there I start sketching ideas and thinking about how this collection might take shape. Nothing is final yet - this is the very beginning where ideas are still forming.
