(4K, 2026) KLM Boeing 737-800 (PH-BXE) startup and takeoff from the snow on Runway 1L at Oslo Gardermoen, Norway, operating flight KL1204 to Amsterdam Schiphol, in early February 2026. Skip to the takeoff at timestamp 06:20. Skipping forward through my backlog to bring you this video from my first trip of 2026! The trip home was on a much older aircraft compared to the brand new A321neo I arrived into Oslo on. PH-BXE first flew in 2000, and had a very dated cabin, including seats that were not quite upright - made filming difficult, as it reflected off the window alot. It was a great flight though - the 737 engines still pack a lot of power and provide great acceleration, especially for the brakes-on takeoff that we had here. A very moody blue evening in Oslo as we pushed back on the icy apron and made our way out to the Runway. We got some beautiful countryside snowy scenes after takeoff with the streetlights dotting the white and forested landscape. We were in for a real treat as we climbed above the clouds, into a stunning red sky at sunset! Landing at Amsterdam coming soon.
