Religious Rehabilitation Group's work helps with early intervention to prevent harm: SM Teo
Senior Minister Teo Chee Hean says early detection and intervention in youths are key in preventing harm from violent extremist ideologies. Mr Teo adds that the work of the Religious Rehabilitation Group (RRG) has contributed to Singapore's peace and harmony. It includes counselling and mentoring of youths and taking an upstream approach against extremism. Ustaz Dr Mohd Feisal Mohd Hassan, Secretary and Counsellor at the RRG discusses the group and what motivated Ustaz Ali Haji Mohamed to start it. He also talks about the importance of its work for all communities in Singapore and describes some challenges when working with ISA detainees.
