Analytical Methods to Identify Drivers of Change in Population-Level Nutrition Outcomes

Large-scale household surveys, such as the Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS), Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS), Living Standards Measurement Study (LSMS), and national nutrition surveys, provide a wealth of information that can guide decision-makers to better nutrtion policy and program actions. As part of efforts to explain the drivers of stunting reduction in 5 countries with high rates of decline, the Exemplars in Global Health initiative used a multivariable decomposition approach to analyze multiple rounds of national household surveys. In this webinar, Nadia Akseer (JHSPH) will explain analytical approach and help audience identify ways audience members might apply it in their context.
