Episode 16 in the Dacru Records series at RadiOzora! Montreal's Yves Renaud, or DJ Mukunda, has always been drawn to music. Starting with guitar and a metal band, he became a resident DJ and, in 1996, found his true calling in psychedelic trance. Influenced by Astral Projection, Infected Mushroom, and Talamasca, Mukunda launched his namesake project in 2020, inspired by a Sanskrit term for spiritual liberation. He views each set as a ritual to elevate consciousness and connection, with a signature style recognized for its technical precision and energetic flow. Mukunda has performed across Montreal, Ontario, and Quebec, at festivals like Eclipse and Timeless, sharing stages with favorites like Liquid Soul and G.M.S. In 2022, he co-founded Ancient Om Productions, supporting the psychedelic community. An Earth lover and lifelong learner, he joined Dacru Records as its North American representative in early 2024. This set contains all Dacru Records music. A few older ones, but mostly brand new and some still unreleased.
