The Mavrovo National Park is the largest of the four national parks of North Macedonia. Located in the west of the country, it spreads over an area of about 780 km² and is characterized by deep canyons, lakes and dense forests that abound with diverse wildlife. It’s a large park with some dramatic scenery, sheer cliffs, challenging hikes and skiing. Just driving through is enjoyable. Many tiny villages are also in the area and worth a look. It is so good to see earth still has places filled with trees and pretty untouched nature . Mavrovo National Park is a must see! If you are mountain lover it will stay with you forever.
