We Are Not Alone (Remake V2) --IMPORTANT TO READ BEFORE PLAYING-- Since the necro patch almost every maps or campaign mod can't be launched from the workshop tab anymore, it crash the game. You need to launch it from the console type : map bm_of3a1 About Dear fans of Half-Life Opposing Force This mod is a remake of the opfor chapter called We Are Not alone. Play as Adrian Shephard, in your journey to catch Gordon! This version (v2) is an overhaul remaster of we are not alone old version (v1. 6), I completely reworked my own work. This new version extends the gameplay, more maps, details, fights, puzzles, overhauled area specially the xen zone and more. Things To know And Features -Before subscribing to this mod, make sure you are unsubscribed from v1.6 (Just to be sure nothing will corrupt the new version) -A complete remake of the full chapter using my assets and black-mesa assets. -Extended gameplay. -First area has been restored to fit the original (spawning behind gordon) -3 maps (of3a1, of3a2, of3a3) -Hecu arms! (dosent replace or overwrite any bm file) -Dead Aliens bodies in the lambda teleporter zone (Killed by gordon) -Possibility to go into the gordon portal and see what happen :') -Exploding scientist tower. -Displacer gun apparition. -1 brand new map area that was not in the original, lambda themed zone with 3 puzzles. -Two xen maps -Now include the easter egg zone from hazard course. -if you want to play the chapter that follow this one, crush depth is available here : https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfile... -Include map source file (vmfs) you can get them there by opening the vpk : steam/steamapps/workshop/content/362890/3015012817 Extra Informations There is no new weapons for the simple reason that modders cant access the bm source code. But a surprise is present in the second map anyway. Since there was no race x even in the original chapter well no need to explain why they are not in my mod neither. I am aware that the Gordon animations are not perfect, but I did my best with what I had, here again since we can't have new NPCs I had to do it the hard way with a prop_dynamic and a couple other tricks. But I think I can try something in a very small update I am also announcing a remake for my own version of crush depth, expect the same treatment as this mod, more maps, rethought level design, and more. For the time I work on crush depth remake, vicarious reality will be paused (Not cancelled just paused) Also the older version of this mod, stay on the workshop in case people would like to play the short version for some reason. Installation -To launch this map, simply subscribe launch the game and then go to the steam workshop section and run the map from there! -If you have the old ui, type this in the console to start the mod, map bm_of3a1 --Optional hud and more Installation guide-- -Now to install this you need go to your main steam folder then steamapps/workshop/content/362890/3015012817/hud and extra -Go to your main steam folder then steamapps/common/Black Mesa/bms/custom (if you dont have a custom folder, simply create one in bms.) -Now drop : We Are Not hud and extra vpk, into your custom folder. -launch the mod and enjoy.
