The quaint old Cantley House Hotel Wokingham Berkshire is located on the outskirts of Wokingham and close to the M3 M4 and M25 motorways and so naturally is easy to reach from all over the south of England. It has plenty of onsite car parking. The hotel is a medium sized old country house that has retained its Edwardian style charm throughout. It is well maintained and so there is no shortage of photogenic backdrops throughout the interior. Outside it has extensive gardens which are well landscaped and kept in good order. There are shaded areas available should the sun be too bright for top quality portraits - which are always better when shot in light shade. The Wokingham registrars responsible for weddings at the hotel are easy going and sympathetic to the needs of professional photographers and videographers. The Oak Room in which ceremonies usually take place can be a tight fit for the purposes of photography and video as the bay window feature where the main desk is positioned makes it tricky to get the best angles but its a great looking room and the registrars are very helpful.
