Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust | NatWest Social & Community Capital

The Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust (GVVT) uses its incredible collection of restored vehicles to encourage community engagement and generate social inclusion. The Bridgeton bus garage is home to around 130 restored buses, coaches and other historic vehicles. It is also the focus of the Back on the Road scheme which provides practical training and employability skills for people in recovery from addiction and substance abuse. GVVT approached NatWest Social & Community Capital for a loan to allow them to purchase their historic garage. The support of S&CC helped secure the future of the Trust and enabled the Back on the Road scheme to continue its invaluable work supporting vulnerable people in the community.
