My hair is totally bra strap length but with curls, it's back to shoulder length and I love it! Sisterlocks are very light weight and easy to manage. =========================== I left the rods in for two days. I try my best to avoid using heat on my hair and since we are Quarantined, it was easy for me to leave them in. I literally only use heat on my hair maybe 3 times a year. It is usually if I am in a time crunch. My hair was a little damp since I washed my hair a bit earlier. It is best to do a rod set on slightly wet hair because the curls will stay and be a little more defined. I also added a leave-in conditioner and a setting foam for extra hold. It does not make my hair flaky or hard at all and I love it.
