Amando López: el Documental de la Comunidad (2025)

Amando López es una comunidad perteneciente al Bajo Lempa, Jiquilisco, Usulután, y cuya fundación se remonta a 1991, cuando salvadoreños exiliados y exiliadas por la Guerra Civil regresan a sus tierras con la esperanza de reintegrarse a la vida en El Salvador. Este documental fue creado por Voces en la Frontera con el apoyo de la comunidad Amando López, entre 2023 y 2025, con el objetivo de rescatar relatos sobre la fundación y consolidación de una comunidad organizada, unida y solidaria. *** Amando López is a community located in Bajo Lempa, region of Jiquilisco, Usulután, and its founding dates back to 1991, when Salvadorans exiled by the Civil War returned to their homeland hoping to reintegrate into life in El Salvador. This documentary was created by Voices on the Border with the support of the Amando López community between 2023 and 2025, with the aim of preserving stories about the founding and consolidation of an organized, united, and supportive community.
