The Christmas season in Central Florida is in full swing and we are excited to share some of the fun, so come along! Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has a seasonal overlay (Holiday Remix) with an all-new Christmas song perfect for this time of year. This thrilling ride has quickly become a family favorite and by the end, we couldn't get "Run Run Rocket" and "I am Groot, I am Groot" out of our heads! The Cookie Stroll is back again this year and we started with the sugar cookie from Connections Cafe. After buying 5 of any of the cookies the passport booklet is stamped and a completer prize is given. We'll be sharing more soon! It has become a family tradition to attend The Candlelight Processional each year. While guests are able to wait in the standby line to attend one of the three nightly performances, we prefer to book a package with guaranteed seating (dinner and a show!). We made our way to Rose and Crown where we were seated outdoors. With the dining package, we were each able to select an appetizer, entree, and dessert. Non-alcoholic drinks were also included with the meal. We all selected the Scotch Egg based on recommendations from our server. The egg was delicious and even our picky eater enjoyed the flavors! Brielle and Tim ordered Fish and Chips while Keagan and Cheree had Shepherd's Pie. The entree portion was sizeable and all around we thought the food was delicious. There were two dessert options on the menu, Vanilla Gelato and Sticky Toffee Pudding. The gelato was light and the fruit elevated the dish. The pudding was warm and rich and a touch of the vanilla gelato on top would have made it even better. Service was fantastic and we enjoyed our dining experience. We wandered around World Showcase before making our way to America Gardens for showtime. During Festival of the Holidays, there are Storytellers in a number of countries and we came across Pere Noelle. He told the story of Christmas celebrations in France. There are Storytellers in Japan, Norway, Italy, and the UK.
