We decided it was time to add a new video into the mix: Introducing the real-world highway fuel-economy test! Featuring Mazda's excellent CX-5 Signature, we drive the car at a steady state on the highway for just over 100 miles round trip to determine a realistic cruising mpg—which can differ greatly from EPA, as you'll see in this video. One change we've made since shooting this video: We now cruise at 73 mph as opposed to 70 in an effort to average 70 mph over the entire test.
