1: Clone the QD scenario. Give it a name. I use "RS" as short for random showers. 2: Open the cloned QD scenario in the scenario editor. 3: In the scenario flyout click the cogwheels. Choose AP WEATHER. 4: Click the object set filter. Find AP, then mark the WEATHER EP. 5: Navigate to the site of the Player Train Spawn Point 6: Click the Player Train Spawn Point. Edit the scenario name. This name is what will be shown in the play menu. 7: Click the "track infrastructure" menu. Scroll untill you find AP SWEP WEATHER. Drag this trigger to any track. (note; the train simulator window might minimise several time now, you will just have to live with that, it wont happen in the game play EXCEPT right when the scenario starts). 8: Click the SWEP trigger . In the flyout input this to the speed limit box: APFairHighCloudRainShowersThundery;MaxGap=100 Save the scenario. When you play the scenario choose Cloudy in the weather menu, It will give the best transition. Notes; 1: The MaxGap= value is the maximum time between showers. With a value of 100 minutes this means that if you play a scenario shorter than that, you might never have a shower. If you want to test if it works, set the MaxGap= value to 20 minutes. Then there should be a shower within 20 minutes. 2: If you don't want a chance of thunders, remove "Thundery" from the code line. 3: For even better transitions i have modded the Cloudy option in the Quick Drive menu to give both Fair AND High Clouds from the AP SWEP 2 packs. I will make a tutorial on how to do that at a later time. 4: The Sky And Weather Expansion Pack 2 officially only works on selected Brittish routes. to get it working on unsupported routes, please read the manual from Armstrong Powerhouse.
