After more than 36 years, the band has performed across various Venezuelan states and toured several countries including the United States, Spain, Colombia, and Uruguay, becoming a global ambassador of Venezuelan rhythms. Tambor Urbano has received several prestigious music awards in Latin America, including Disco de Oro, Mara de Oro, and Cacique de Oro, and has released several successful albums such as La Rumba…!, Que no se pare la rumba, and 25 Años de Rumba. Héctor Silveira is the band’s lead singer and currently leads a new generation of young musicians, while the group continues to preserve its original identity, blending tradition with popular celebrations.
