These two are fearful at first, but with time and consistency they begin to show who they really are: soft, sweet, and quietly affectionate. In the beginning, Ipswich preferred the safety of under the couch, but day by day she's been coming out more and more. Now she often stays calm when someone walks in, instead of running to hide. It's a huge win, and she's trying so hard. Hudson, on the other hand, has a playful side that shines once he feels safe. Staff love walking by the door and catching him in the middle of a solo play session, happily tossing a little mouse toy around like it's his full-time job.
