JNCC Science Talks: Analysing Ecological Time-Series Datasets from the Atlantic

Examples from the iAtlantic Research Project Understanding how marine ecosystems respond to environmental variation and human activities is key to predicting the consequences of climate change. This talk will showcase the work undertaken as part of the Horizon 2020 iAtlantic project to understand how open-water and deep-sea ecosystems have changed over time in recent decades. Specifically, methods to analyse complex ecological time-series will be presented and results obtained from two iAtlantic study regions (the Scotian Slope and the Sargasso Sea) will be discussed.
