📍 Route: Merzouga → Boumalne Dades (TMT) ~270 km 🏍️ Motorcycle Adventure / Off-Road ⛰️ Terrain: desert tracks, rocky sections 🧭 Trans Morocco Trail – Day 5 After leaving Merzouga, I decided to skip the Ramlia pass. The fall from the dromedary the day before was still bothering me quite a bit, and with the rain from the previous day, I chose to cut this section (the only shortcut of the whole trip). We headed towards Gara Medouar, a truly unique and stunning place, and then continued on towards the Dades Gorges. 📍 Route: Boumalne Dades → Imilchil (TMT) ~340 km 🏍️ Motorcycle Adventure / Off-Road ⛰️ Terrain: high mountain passes & sections above 3000m 🌡️ Temperatures: cold all day (3–7°C) 🧭 Trans Morocco Trail – Day 6 The change in altitude really made itself felt, with temperatures staying low all day, between 3°C and 7°C. Despite the cold, this was my favorite section of the TMT so far: the terrain is more varied, the landscapes are breathtaking, and the passes above 3000 meters are simply incredible. The only issue of the day was that my GPS wouldn’t load the N section of the route.
