My daughter Amélie has been sitting on my lap whilst I play piano since the week she was born. At 4 months she decided she wanted to start playing herself which can be seen here:    • Piano Composition by Amélie Elle Pallier-C...   But for most of the last 6 months, when playing the piano she has done like most and used her whole hand to hit notes and often playing multiple notes at a time. Tonight for the first time she started pointing one finger and focusing on each note by themselves instead of just bashing away. It really is hard to explain how incredible it was to see this big change in her development happen before my eyes. And to top it off she even copies part of the scale I was repeating! :-)
