EDIT: Official title is "Okarun's Life"! Surprise! While it's true that some episodes of "Dandadan" got leaked online, I did not watch them. I watched a special screening of episode 1-3 here in Oslo, about a month ago. And I quite enjoyed it! It's not my typical type of anime, I rarely watch horror/occult stuff. But that aside, Dandadan is both funny and excellently produced. During the screening, I picked up on this piano theme that is used in all of the first three episodes. And it was always during tender scenes between Ayase and Okarun, that's why I've temporarily named it "tenderness" or "friends", until we get an official title. Looking at Kensuke Ushio's recent discography (Dangers of My Heart), he does like to use simple words to describe titles (and without capitalization lol). But I'm excited to find out what the official name will be :) As for the theme itself, I quite like it. I'm a huge fan of Ushio's previous work; most notably "A Silent Voice". In the same fashion as he did with that soundtrack, I feel that he perfectly captures the atmosphere of the anime with his music. In a crazy and occult anime like Dandadan, this piece gives that feeling of a "fleeting moment" of rest. It's tender, while keeping it slightly tense. Yes, it's short and simple, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. As for the transcription itself, it should be 99% accurate to the episode 1 version. There's a few notes towards the end that I can't make out because of the dialogue, so I did my best. Modified versions are used in episode 2 and 3, but they are much shorter. What did you think of the anime so far? Let me know in the comments! Thanks for watching! Please like & subscribe if you enjoyed the video. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Composer: Kensuke Ushio Arranger: Torby Brand #torbybrand, #anime, #sheetmusic, #okarunslife, #tenderness, #ダンダダン, #dandadan
