Wheel of Fortune Fan Recreation/Game Night Pilot - Episode 1

You can probably tell we are huge Wheel of Fortune fans. On a typical game night, we’ll play card and board games, bingo, or: this! We decided to amp it up a bit and bring you an “episode” of Wheel of Fortune: The Game Night version. Our version brings back some retro-themed/international rounds and retired puzzle add-ons, but still has the modern features you see today like the brand-new Triple Toss-Up! Scroll down for a breakdown of round-level information. INFORMATION The wheel is 40” wide and is custom-built using all sorts of methods and materials: 3D design and printing, electronic paper cutting machines, and LOTS of other fun things that really helped me bring the wheel to life. The puzzle board is custom-built software I spent the better part of a year building out by learning how to code VBA and perform some graphic/animation design. ROUND-LEVEL BREAKDOWN The wheel is loaded up with a Gift Tag, the Wild Card, the Million Dollar Wedge, the Vault Wedge, the Free Play Wedge (which I forgot to turn on at certain points…) and a Prize Wedge at the start of each game. The Vault Wedge is always re-added to the wheel each round, even if it is removed in a previous round (win or lose; the Vault amount resets if it is won, however)—everything else stays on until won/lost or once the Speed-Up round is reached.
