This build guide is mostly unedited video of the whole process including all the moments of trying different things out. I am on PC and using Ship Builder Tolerance Tweaks mod which gives me a huge overlap with ship parts and I am able to merge parts together. There are methods/glitches to do the same things on consoles (without mods) such as the flip and duplicate glitches (check links below).
