UniBrass 2014 - Southampton University Brass Band

Performance of Southampton University Brass Band at UniBrass 2014 Conducted By: Daniel Laverick & Phil Draisey Southampton University Brass Band, founded in 2007, caters for all brass enthusiasts at the University. The band is non-auditioned unlike some of the other musical societies at the University, allowing members to have fun playing music in a more relaxed atmosphere. The band always welcomes new members of any playing standard, with all brass band instrumentalists and percussionists welcome. We regularly play in around Southampton including playing at the 175th anniversary celebrations of P&O ferries. This will be our fourth year competing in UniBrass and will feature the largest band in SUBBs history. Our conductors this year are Daniel Laverick who is a 2nd year Medic and Eb bass player and Phil Draisey who is a 3rd year Music student and trombone player/pianist. This will be Daniels second year conducting us at Unibrass and will be Phils first experience of UniBrass.
