Hello everyone and thanks for tuning in to today's ten day forecast video update. We're going to look at the weather for the next ten to fourteen days. Day ten will take us to 14th March - and we'll be able to extend out beyond that with the extended and ECM ensembles (they run to around a couple of weeks) We'll have a look at the CFS V2 for April itself at the end of the video. Higher pressure will be building to the north east of the country this week bringing colder easterly winds by the weekend but with low pressure to our south and west we can expect more rain at times. A mixed first half to March... Meanwhile a major SSW (Sudden Stratospheric Warming) taking place with sustain reversal of zonal winds at 10hpa, starting today.
