Hardcore/emo music festival FURNACE FEST returns in 2021 for the first time since 2003, sporting a lineup that consists 80% of what could be perceived as "nostalgic" bands who all broke through during that 2000-2005 pocket. My first band, Nehemiah, played the last Furnace Fest in 2003 - it was our biggest flop of a set in the history of our band, as our drummer's kick drum broke during our 2nd song and we had no way to fix it. By the 3rd song, we threw in the towel. This compiles all the random moments I shot video of throughout my 3 days at the fest in Birmingham, Alabama. So many bands I saw play in basements when they were brand new, and classic bands I never got to see until now (like Zao!)
