Here is Part 3 of Round 6 of my CHSR construction coverage. It begins where I left off at the Deer Creek Viaduct and ends at Waukena Ave in Corcoran. I caught three different freight trains on this one. The last two were on back to back flights and made for a fun little video transition between the two. I used the BuildHSR website's names for all the labels on this one. This made a mystery for me. Waukena Ave mostly follows a former rail line between Tulare and Corcoran, through the town of Waukena. This is designated State Route 137. Right before the state highway route gets to Corcoran, It breaks away from the old rail line and goes to Whitley Ave, the main E/W street through Corcoran. That is where the round-about and the future proof 4-lane underpass is located. You would think that is where the state highway is going to remain but the BuildHSR website calls the current state highway simply "Whitley Ave" and calls Waukena Ave "Corcoran Highway" ... hmmmm hehe The next every inch video will be Waukena Ave to Grangeville Ave. I flew that one a few weeks ago. I'm sorry for the delays in editing. One the bright side, when I fly again, I will start all the way back at Hanford Armona Road and the whole entire Hanford Viaduct area will gat a back to back side by side coverage. There have been a lot of changes at Hanford Armona Road and Grangeville Blvd. Now I'm going to be late for work and I'll finish the description after work ... I just wanted to get the video out here for you guys this morning. Thank you :)
