Access is a challenge to geographically dispersed learners and a pedagogic concern to teachers with varying ICT skills. She also received the Department of Education’s 2018 National Innovations Award for ICT in Teaching and Learning and a Finalist in the same search for the ICT Innovations Award in Governance. She is a Quipper Enthusiast, a Microsoft Education Ambassador and a DepEd National OER Core Leader. At present, she is in thesis writing towards the degree Master of Distance Education at the country’s premiere university and the Commission on Higher Education’s (CHED) National Center of Excellence in Open and Distance Education – the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU).
