In late February, Mr. Z and I had the opportunity to visit an amazing real ghost town, Nelson, Nevada. What makes this old mining town unique is that it is not overrun with tourists. In fact, the Sunday we visited, there were only a handful of other visitors. The collection of old vehicles alone makes a visit to Nelson a "must do" for old car and truck enthusiasts. Entry is only a dollar and, despite what the sign says entering the town, the man running the museum and store was kind and welcoming.
