It would be very easy to spend days here going through their vast collection of historical items, artifacts and beautifully restored local heritage buildings as it is the largest local history museum in Western Australia. A dedicated and very friendly team of volunteers ensure the village is well maintained Kalamunda History Village is managed by The Kalamunda and Districts Historical Society It takes 30 minutes to drive from the city of Perth to Kalamunda The word Kalamunda is derived from two Noongar (Aboriginal) words, kala meaning "home" and munda meaning "forest" Opening Hours: Weekdays 10am - 3pm Thursday 12pm - 3pm Weekends 10am - 4pm Entry Fees: Standard Visit Adults $8 Concession $6 Companion Card accepted Children (over 5) $4 Filmed 27th June 2020.
