From the earliest years of the first Planeswalker duel, creation of the Talon Gates, and the first Temporal Rift over Dominaria - Bolas knows the plane well. In his story, Bolas becomes the God Emperor of Madara on Dominaria. He is eventually betrayed by a mere mortal warrior, his previous Champion, Tetsuo Umezawa. Umezawa killed the Elder Dragon, but Bolas' essence endured within the Time Rift he had created. As the Time Rifts grew unstable, Bolas managed to trick Teferi and Venser into restoring his body to the physical world - his rebirth on Dominaria. There is a lot to this story, but Dominaria is where Bolas died, and where Bolas would rise again. Let us know what you think about this lore in the comments below!
