"3AM Gas Run", by jegasus (M8 Community Jam 40)

This is my submission to the 40th M8 Comminuty Jam!!! I can't believe we're up to forty, hot diggity!!! As usual, I completely forgot about the optional challenge (use PLY fx to juggle the sampler playhead direction back and forth) until just this very moment! Hahahahaha... In truth, I have spent the last few weeks preparing for an upcoming live performance (my first live show ever!!!), so suddenly it was 7pm on submission day for this jam and I noticed that had absolutely nothing in my hands to submit! So I decided to take the "let's do it live" approach and jumped on the Jamming/Composing channel (on the Dirtywave Discord group) and hammered this bad boy out in about 1h30! Even though this was a super rushed job, I REALLY like what I was able to achieve. I feel like I was able to get much more in line with the synthwave-y vibe I was going for back in [Jam 37](https://m8communityjam.bandcamp.com/a.... All the instruments here are the M8's internal synths, almost ALL of them WAVSYNTH, with the exception of a little clicky impulse on track 7, which was the only FMSYNTH instrument. I'm super partial to this theme and wish I had dedicated more time to it, but still really happy with where I landed. I'm super excited to hear what y'all came up with!!! Something tells me this is gonna be a pretty amazing jam. Cheers, musical homies!!!
