In this vlog, I reached the beautiful Akhegwo Village in Meluri District. I was originally staying at the Village Chairman’s house and we even shared a delicious meal of traditional Catfish meat. However, the Chairman’s family had to leave for a 1-2 day birthday party trip and had to lock their home. Suddenly, I was a solo traveller with nowhere to go in a remote village... until I met a wonderful elderly couple (Uncle & Auntie, both 60+) living right next door. They didn't just give me permission to stay in their stunning house, but they treated me like their own son, fed me, and shared stories I will never forget. This video is a tribute to the legendary hospitality of the Naga people.
