how i spent my weekend | 3d2n penang island getaway to hike penang hill, exploring georgetown

this is a weekend trip that the hiking club has planned for awhile. we’re going to penang, malaysia from jakarta, indonesia to hike bukit bendera or what we know as penang hill. actually, you can take the funicular train uphill, but because we’re trying to hike a mountain, we want hike it! the trip starts out normally - the airport. however, while we’re going abroad to hike, we’re going abroad not to only hike. on the first day, as soon as we’re arrived, we went to gurney plaza in order to eat (little nyonya!!!) and buy all the things we want to buy such as medicines, vitamins, chocolates, snacks, and so on. the last thing we want to go to is the christy ng store, and funnily enough, it’s apparently not in gurney. it’s on a far away mall nearer to the airport. after discussion, we decided to go to the mall anyway because we really, really want to see the christy ng store. hehe. we bought like 13 bags in total, and went home to eat fried oyster eggs and maggi. the day two is the star of the trip. we woke up at 4-5am to prepare for our hike, and left at 6am to hike the penang hill. the hike was horrendous, i’d say, but very rewarding indeed. i won’t say much about it because i will make a whole another video about it. we arrived, enjoyed penang hill, went to the habitat, and went back to the hotel to nap. we were exhausted. we woke up in the afternoon, shower and prepare for an afternoon out at georgetown! we really enjoyed the afternoon, the place is so beautiful it’s almost picturesque. i loved it. there were many moments, recorded and not recorded that we had. we had dinner at little nyonya again and then went to a local pub called the tipsy cow. we walked back to the hotel at night and just laughed it off and packed our things. the third day, we packed the rest of our stuff and checked out. we left at 5am to the airport. ate starbucks because we were hungry, and got on an 8am flight to jakarta by airasia berhad. then, we’re back to reality. bye, our quick getaway! #Penang #MalaysiaTravel #JakartaToPenang #PenangTrip #TravelVlog #WeekendGetaway #PenangVlog #SoutheastAsiaTravel #PenangHill #BukitBendera #PenangHiking #HikingVlog #HikingTrip #NatureWalk #PenangHillHike #SilentVlog #AestheticVlog #CozyVlog #MinimalVlog #PeacefulVlog #VlogWithoutTalking #ChillTravelVlog #FunicularTrain #GeorgetownPenang #LittleNyonya #ChristyNg #PenangFood #TravelWithFriends #QuickEscape #AirAsia #TravelAesthetic #adayinmylife #aweekinmylife #vloglife
