Yamaha WaveRunner Poor Man's Pump shoe fill DIY.

Not meant to be used on WaveRunners needing high performance modification. This is a big old fat Yamaha SUV Waverunner that does not require top performance mods. It's a big fat lazy WaveRunner that needs a Pump shoe fill to help prevent cavitation. Not sure if I can find the final product video but the basic gist of this is let this foam cure at least 24 hours, trim the bulged out foam surface down so that it leaves a little bit of room for some black RTV or other silicone of choice. Also consider using 3M 4200 or 3M 5200 to put a finishing cap on this modification. The theory being that if you do it right the silicone or 5200 cap will prevent water from migrating back into the open cell foam and saturating it. I would imagine that trap saltwater could corrode this cast aluminum from the inside out eventually. Use this mod at your own risk.
