Thyroid cancer is rare, but numbers are rising. There are around 2,100 new cases found in the UK every year, often in young women. Thankfully it's a very treatable disease. Most patients (up to 90%) with the most common forms of the disease will be cured. This is a short clip from our new patient information film 'Thyroid Cancer Uncovered'. The film follows several patients on their treatment journey, from diagnosis through to lifelong care. It features some of the UK's leading Thyroid Cancer specialists discussing the disease,it's diagnosis, surgery, treatment protocols and outcomes. Our film has  been designed to help thyroid cancer patients and their families and friends to better understand the disease and its treatment. The film will be available online and on DVD soon.
