Construction and Impact of the Bahá’í House of Worship of South America

“Although to outward seeming the Mashriqu’l-Adhkár is a material structure, yeth it ha a spiritual effect. It forgeth bonds of unity from heart to heart; it is a collective center for men’s souls.” Concluding a century-long process on every continent, the dedication of the House of Worship in Santiago offered many challenges and meaningful victories, turning into a unique landmark and a welcoming space for all to gather and explore the dynamic of transcendence and service. Tiago Masrour who has resided in Chile for the past 30 years, participated in the management of the construction of the Bahá’í House of Worship of South America. Tiago works as General Manager of the scientific research Center Ciencia & Vida. He also serves as regional representative of the Baha'i International Community to the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) since 2021. Tiago has an MSc in Global Technology and Development from the School for the Future of Innovation in Society of Arizona State University, BS in Computer Engineering and is a KAICIID International Fellow and trainer.
