Mark O'Connor along with some of Nashville's finest musicians of the 1990's opened the Country Music Association Awards Show in 1991. O'Connor's album New Nashville Cats went on to win two CMA awards that night, and marked the first of six times O'Connor was voted Musician of the Year. This live version of "Restless" featured the songwriter Carl Perkins, Bill Monroe, Earl Scruggs, Alison Krauss as well as the principles of he collaboration, Ricky Skaggs, Vince Gill and Steve Wariner. The telecast was watched by 30 million people.
