I found all our Easter decorations and now i need help setting everything up. I hear the kiddos awake downstairs, so i go see what they are up to. The have built an early morning obstacle course. if its IRL or in Roblox, these kiddos can't get enough of obbys. I ask the kiddos if they want to help set up easter and ask if they remember our family tradition! Adley immediately jumps in an says "we hide an SD card of last years easter!!" Kinda like a mini time capsule, we film our easter holiday and then we put it away for a year. so the next year we get to look back an see how much we have grown and whats different in our lives. Navey, Niko, and Adley all run upstairs to help set up the decorations and look for the vlog. We also swing by mom and dads room to see if Jenny wants to join us. While she is waking up, the kiddos start opening boxes. Adley finds easter baskets, Navey finds bunny ears, and Niko finds a tiny leprechaun hat lol. We find craft and candy, decorations and plastic eggs. When the kiddos find some bunny stuffy decorations that we see the one that is Niko's is holding a small bag with an SD card in it!! We found it! Adley also remembers that last year we hid the bunnys around the house as a little game for you to play as you watch the vlog, so keep an eye out. While we finish getting all ready for easter, lets watch what happened last year. Easter 2024 was our first holiday in the new house. Adley and Niko helped me set up our easter baskets, while Jenny did baby Navey's bedtime routine. The kiddos are so excited and when Adley see's that mom and i don't have baskets, she finds little ones that will work. We found a square one that will be jennys and a strainer that will be mine. It's time for bed so we can celebrate with our easter egg hunt in the morning. Its exciting because this is our first time getting the kiddos at the top of the stair for a holiday. they are so cute! We get started and right away Adley and Navey find some eggs. We search the house finding eggs, bubble wands, chocolate bunnies, and super soft bunny stuffies. In my baskets, is a nerf blaster looking thing, but it has a weird track on in. The kiddos are having a hard time finding their baskets, till adley finds Niko's then they all start finding their own. Adley's basket has make up and nails, Navey's a cute rainwbow tutu, and Nikos has a light up airplane. OH, you can launch the airplans from the blaster i got! We play with that for a bit, sending planes flying all over the house. We notice that in one of the super high up windows, is a chocolate bunny. So I go on a rescue mission to get it down. trying all sorts of things, and navey calling me crazy, i finally get it down so that all the kiddos can have their easter treats. When we go to see how far our planes will fly outside, Adley sees that is raining and starts looking for worms. She gets a bowl full of dirt and starts catching our new pet worms, one for each of us, What a great first easter in this house. I love this tradition of going back and reliving these memories.
