1968....."B" side of "Time For Livin'". Stereo Remix by MixerRog / Original video edited and remastered with HQ stereo sound. "Birthday Morning" is a psychedelic pop track by the American sunshine pop band The Association, featured as the closing track on their fourth studio album, Birthday (1968). The song was released in 1968 under Warner Bros. Records as part of the Birthday album and also served as the B-side to the hit single "Time for Livin'". It was written by band member Jim Yester, who contributed several tracks to the album that moved toward a more experimental, "gentle psych" sound. Described as a "beautifully arranged musical detour," the song uses poetic imagery of dawn—"the stairway to the moon" and "sunrise in her hair"—to symbolize hope and new beginnings. The track was produced by Bones Howe and features instrumentation by members of the legendary session group The Wrecking Crew.
