Longplay of Once Alive, a one-man-developed Story-driven Walking Simulator, taking place in Post-apocalyptic USA, where mankind became extinct due to a mysterious virus, attacking humans and animals alike. And it's the infected animals which remain in the world. Story follows two brothers, possibly the last survivors. Game developed by a Turk Cem Boray Yıldırım, published on Steam by GameDev.ist on 18 November, 2024. Note I played this in the state it released in November, in March 2025 it got a 1.0.0 patch. It runs on Unreal Engine 5, and... it made my i5 12400f + RTX 3060 12 GB crawl and cry, unfortunately. Here the settings were 2560x1440, settings High/Highest. No DLSS to speak of I believe, would have helped greatly.
