After owning this 1973 Porsche 911 Targa for three years, it's finally time to start putting it back together. It was a race car for many years, and I made the decision to bring it back to a road car. This is not advisable. I would never advise anyone to do this unless you love pain, and bleeding money. It's been a huge learning experience for me the last few years with these old cars. It's a true labor of love. Restoring an old car is no easy task. For those doing the entire thing on their own, I salute you. This was clearly too much for me, which is why I took it to Perfect lines Restoration to have them straighten the car and do the metal work. I've still done a decent amount of work on this car, but not nearly as much as I'd planned to do. A friend to come help made this a much more enjoyable day, and a better video in my opinion.
