Installing cheap Beyerdynamic DT770 replacement headphone ear pads from eBay

Mostly real-time (long) video of me installing cheap ($12 ebay) replacement ear pads on my Beyerdynamic DT770 headphones. Just a quick edit in Openshot to mute a few f-bombs and decrease the hair dryer volume so, some unintentional Darth Vader breathing and odd vocal noises remain. --- --- --- I bought these DT770's secondhand in 2016 and immediately replaced the ear pads with genuine Beyerdynamic replacements from Amazon ( EDT 770V - $40 ), but I kept the existing foam disc inserts because they were thinner. These new ebay replacement ear pads from china (ECOM60148_GR - $12) are of comparable quality and include disc inserts that are about as thin as the (original?) ones that came with the headphones. Be careful when prying the retaining ring to remove the foam disc. As you can see I accidentally poked a hole in the fibrous membrane. I think I actually made that hole in 2016 though.
